"Jimny Owners Club of KZN" Launched at 4x4 Fun Day.
Every Jimny Owners Club would be envious if they saw the magnificent weather conditions that greeted the Jimny Owners Club of KZN at its debut 4x4 Fun Day on 12 May. The Mountain View recreational resort in Pietermaritzburg was the perfect venue to host the launch.The Jimnys set out on the 4x4 course alongside a couple of other 4x4's that we participating in the national qualifying event for KZN drivers for the National Champs which takes place later this year. While the Jimnys were not able to participate in the competition, their owners were certainly happy to test out the little giant's capabilities in and around the Resort.
Lloyd and Amanda Kavanagh as well as the rest of the Jimny Owners Club were overwhelmed by the amount of people who swooned over their Jimnys – describing them as having the "cute factor" as well as being the best possible 4x4 to launch a "Ladies Beginners 4x4 Team" in a very male dominated sport. The Jimnys were happy to accept the compliments of course and showed off in true Suzuki style.
Jimny owners left the event with the pride and passion for their beloved little giants. Thrilled and pumped with adrenaline, the owners made off into the sunset. The perfect ending to a perfect day out.
We all look forward to the next KZN Jimny Owners Club 4x4 Fun Day which will be an out drive with technical skill lesson, all in an off road environment. Come and enjoy the breath-taking Natal countryside, or come just to experience the exhilaration the Jimny is guaranteed to bring you.
